Executive Producer - Skip Klein
Skip Klein fell in love with photography as a boy when he saw an image magically appear for the first time in the Dektol in the Friends School darkroom. At the age of 13, he traded in all twelve Cross Pen & Pencil sets he received as gifts for his Bar Mitzvah for his first camera, a compact Rollei 35mm. Skip is now focusing on environmental portraiture and documentary street photography.
Skip is the architect of the 2014 project, Cuban Footsteps, that brought together world-renowned photographers to Cuba to reinterpret and rediscover Walker Evans' work from 1933. Apart from the beautiful and timely collection of images produced from the project, Skip is responsible for producing the film that documents the project, highlighting five photographers while interweaving the work and life of Evans.
